Freda Isaac
10 December 2022
In the early morning of December 10, 2022, Freda Isaac, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend was called home to be with the Lord.
Freda joined her husband, John, sons Shannon and Roddy; as well as her parents Adelaide and Roderick and siblings Roderick, William, Norman, Allen, Bertha, Margaret, Lillian, Donald and Francine.
Left to celebrate her life are her children Kim (Slim), Mollie, John, and Peggy (Byron). Grandchildren Brenna (Adrian), Josh (Sarah), Kaeleigh (Jordan), Evan (Alyssa), Bryce and Alexis. Great-Granddaughters Memphis, Elliette and Amelia Rose. Siblings Irene (Larry), Jean, Shirley and Douglas (Trudy). Freda has many nieces and nephews who will also celebrate her life. Freda was born in Beaver Lake Saskatchewan and came to Red Lake at an early age. To her Red Lake was her home because she loved the bush and water. Her favourite place was sitting on the deck at the family cabin on Coli Lake watching the water. Many cherished family memories were made at Coli Lake.
Family was everything to Freda! She was very social and extremely friendly and loving. Her household was always full of life and laughter. Her home was home to everyone, you were always welcome. In her younger days, Freda was a busy person, usually you could find her organizing and volunteering her time for some organization or cause. She was that volunteer who had a hard time saying “no”. She was one of the original committee members who got Red Lake Minor Hockey organized in Red Lake. She spent countless hours at the arena.
Freda overcame many health issues; but, never complained. Our mom was and will remain our hero for her strength and positive way of thinking. Her faith kept her positive and always looking at the good. Any person who met our mother, realized what a kind, loving, and gentle person she was. She impacted most people within a few minutes of meeting her.
You gave us a beautiful life and so many memories. We celebrate your life and cherish all the memories you have tucked away in our hearts.
Til we meet again…love you
Kim, Mollie, John & Peggy
