The Dryden Eagles Girls High School Hockey team continue to be red hot.
The Eagles extended their winning streak Monday night with a convincing 9-2 win at home over Sioux North.
Miya West opened the scoring 2 minutes in and the ‘Blue and Gold’ never looked back.
Riah Compardo added to the lead 10 seconds later.
She ended with a hat trick.
Molly McMurrich had a strong game forechecking and was rewarded with two goals of her own.
Sydney Boyko started in net for the Eagles and Joella Robinson came in for the third.
Sioux North’s goalie, Presley Brohn, made many saves but Dryden maintained the pressure throughout.
Sophia Legary notched both goals for the visitors in the final frame.
Dryden heads south today (Tuesday) to play the Fort Frances Muskies in boys and girls divisions.
