A Luke Decorby powerplay goal with 6:46 remaining in regulation snapped a 2-2 tie and Red Lake went on to defeat Dryden GM 4-2 Friday night in Cochenour.

After a scoreless first, Affiliated Player Ben Norlock brought the crowd to their feet scoring just 22 seconds into the second frame.
It went back and forth after that with Colton Crysler scoring for the Miners and Brady Frattinger and Landen Stromme replying for the Ice Dogs.
Dryden GM outshot Red Lake 46-37 with Jack Osmond making some big saves in net.

Meantime, it was balanced attack in Sioux Lookout as the Bombers got goals from 6 different players en route to a 7-1 win over Wisconsin.
Owen Riffel led the way with a pair of goals while Alex Lucas, Ty Lone, Nathan Dann and Blake Burke adding singles.
Mitchell Daines picked up his first SIJHL goal in only his second game.
Jake Manners was once again solid making 36 saves.
One other game in the league last night saw Kam River cruising to an 8-1 win in Fort Frances.
