Two members of the Red Lake Miners and one player from the Sioux Lookout Bombers have been named player of the month for November.
Red Lake’s Jacob Lamoureux received Top Forward accolades while Aiden Corbett received Rookie of the Month honours.
Nolan Palmer of the Bombers was named Top Defenceman.
Jacob Lamoureux was rookie of the month for October.
Last month he averaged a goal per game and found the back of the net in 8 of the nine games he played, including 3 on the powerplay.
Lamoureux also added 4 assists giving him an average of 1.44 points per game.
Nolan Palmer’s steady play on the blue line was a major reason the Bombers were able to secure a 5-3 record in the month despite having a tough schedule.
Palmer was over a point per game with 8 in 7 contests and only recorded 2 penalty minutes.
The lone game Palmer didn’t play in November was the one with the most goals allowed for the Bombers, 6 against Kam River.
Aiden Corbett averaged 1.45 points per game in 11 games played.
That included 13 assists and 3 goals.
The consistent forward secured a 9 game point streak in the month and was held off the game sheet only once.
Eric Vanska was named Top Goalie for November.
