A successful Pink the Rink game once again hosted by the Dryden GM Ice Dogs.
Some 650 fans packed the Memorial Arena Saturday for the annual cancer awareness and remembrance game.
On the ice, Dylan Winsor burned his former team with a pair of first period goals to lead Thunder Bay to a 5-4 win in an entertaining and back-and-forth game.
Scoring for Dryden GM were Derek Koivisto, Max Roby, Ryland Maier and Ben Hackl.
The Ice Dogs outshot the North Stars 42-36.
It was a tough Saturday for the local teams as the surging Fort Frances Lakers knocked off Red Lake 3-2 and the Kam River Fighting Walleye downed Sioux Lookout 5-2.
