The Conservatives are taking aim at the federal fiscal update.
Kenora MP Eric Melillo is calling on the NDP/Liberal Coalition to stop new spending.
“When will the Liberals finally stop their spending and cancel their plan to triple-triple-triple the taxes on gas, groceries and home heating.”
Melillo says the latest report only features more of the same reckless spending policies that have driven up inflation.
Terry Beech is the Parliamentary Secretary to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.
Beech says, “Our fiscal update has focused on making life affordable for Canadian families as has our parliamentary agenda for this entire session. We really hope that the Conservatives will come on side and look for solutions.
He says opposition solutions would only cut into seniors pensions and also suggests that fighting climate change isn’t worth doing.
