The Dryden Eagles and Sioux North Warriors both picked up gold medals at the NorWOSSA High School court championships Tuesday.
The Eagles Senior Girls Basketball season capped off a perfect season with a convincing 59-20 win over Beaver Brae.
Kaitlin Viherjoki scored 25 points to lead the Eagles and Fiona Cook and Val Griffiths each added 12.
Dryden will now face Hammarskjold Friday and Saturday in Thunder Bay with a trip to the All-Ontario’s on the line.
The host Warriors dominated on the Volleyball court with the Boys teams winning both finals in four sets.
The Sioux North Seniors will host the NWOSSAA Final Friday and Saturday.
They will play against Westgate.
Sioux North fell in the Junior Girls Basketball Final 36-18 to Fort Frances.
