Two Dryden GM Ice Dogs players recorded their first career SIJHL goals to help the home club skate away with a 6-4 victory over Wisconsin Sunday night.
Cody Steinhart opened the scoring while Rhys Maksimow picked up the insurance goal in the third.
Also finding the back of the net for Dryden GM were James Hooton, Jordan Pfoh, Ty Moore and Bryce Benefield.
Zac MacDonald made 30 saves for the win.
The Ice Dogs are now tied with Red Lake for second in the standings but do have 4 games in hand.
