Millions of dollars in funding is being spent by the province to support northern and rural communities.
The Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund allocation for 2023 has been unveiled.
Funding allocations include:
-Dryden: $2,145,500
-Sioux Lookout: $1,495,100
-Ignace: $904,000
-Red Lake: $835,500
-Ear Falls: $455,400
-Machin: $316,400
-Pickle Lake: $276,400
-Fort Frances: $3,461,900
-Kenora: $3,084,300
The purpose of the funding is to help the municipalities that are adjusting to year over year funding changes based on community fiscal health.
