The regular season is winding down in High School Court sports.
The Dryden Eagles hosted Fort Frances Tuesday and managed one win.
That came in Senior Girls Basketball with the Eagles winning 41-14.
Dryden jumped out to a 30-4 lead in the first half.
Fiona Cook and Kaitlyn Viherjoki once again paced the Eagles attack and Shanae Powell and Val Griffiths were strong on the boards.
In Junior Basketball the Muskies were the early pace-setters, the score was 14-2 after the quarter.
Dryden would mount a comeback, closing to within 4 points early in the third before the visitors pulled away to a 33-21 win.
Volleyball saw the Eagles Senior Boys put up a fight as the teams split the first two sets.
Fort Frances would prevail for a 3-1 win in the end. (25-13, 23-25, 27-25 and 25-18)
The Dryden Juniors scored at least 20 points in all their sets but their win came in the third set once the match had been decided. (25-21, 25-20 and 22-25)
The Eagles end the regular season Thursday in Sioux Lookout.
The Sioux North Warriors were also in action winning one game against Beaver Brae.
It was a thriller as the Warriors won in five sets in Senior Boys Volleyball.
The Juniors lost 2 sets to 1.
In Girls Basketball, the Broncos edged the Warriors 15-14 in Junior play, while Sioux North dropped a 24-17 decision on the Senior side.
