Former Ice Dogs coach Paul McLean makes his return to Dryden tonight (Friday) as his Fort Frances Lakers visit for a two game series.
It’s been an early struggle for McLean as his team is 1-7, the only win coming from a forfeit by Thunder Bay for an illegal player on opening day.
On the other side, Dryden GM has really turned it around after a slow 0-3 start.
They have won six in a row after making some roster changes.
Game time is 7:30 at the Memorial Arena.
In Sioux Lookout, the Bombers look to get back in the win column following a loss to Red Lake.
It won’t be easy as they host the SIJHL leading Kam River Fighting Walleye.
Sioux Lookout is fifth in the standings with 10 points but only 2 points back of second.
Puck-drop is 7:30 at the “Hangar”.
