The Mayor of Ear Falls is anticipating another busy four years at the Council table.
Kevin Kahoot was acclaimed in the recent Municipal election but he will be joined by three new Councillors.
Dan Sutton returns and is joined by newcomers Brad Mountain, Kim Thain, and Doug Woolsey.
Kahoot says, “Really good mix of people of the community. It’s nice to see the new blood coming in. With Dan being there, he’s got the tie off for the last three years so he’s got some experience there but it’s going to be fun working with three new Councillors again.”
He talks about priorities for the new Council.
“Our housing is going to be a big issue. We’ve got a cottage lot development we’re working on here. We’re still into our Parks program. We’ve got lot’s on the table. Aging infrastructure is another thing that worries me a little bit. So lot’s on the plate. It’s going to be a very trying time for the new Councillors so I’m kind of eager to get around the table and get going.”
