The first Showcase experience for the Sioux Lookout Bombers ended up being a success.
The Bombers completed the sweep Saturday with a convincing 9-2 win over the Thunder Bay North Stars.
It was a balanced attack with Blake Burke leading the way with a pair of goals and Jack Hale, Connor Burke, Kalin Roy, Graeme Patrick, Phil Parker, Aidan Parker and Tegan Neuman adding singles.
Ty Bahm chipped in with four assists.
Jake Manners made 29 saves for the win.
In other action, Kam River downed Fort Frances 7-2.
In an exhibition Showcase game, Dryden humbled the host University of Wisconsin-Superior NCAA Yellowjackets 16-1.

Derek Koivisto was on fire with 2 goals and 3 assists.
Dryden’s Ben Hackl recorded a goal and an assist as did Easton Debray, Riland Maier, and Liam Foley.
Brandon Melsness had a goal and two assists, James Hooton scored twice, Tyler Earl had two goals and an assist, Brady Frattinger found the back of the net and added two assists and Max Roby recorded a goal and three assists.
Dryden GM outshot the Yellowjackets 56-11 with Zac MacDonald picking up the win.
