It was a battle of goaltenders as the Red Lake Miners and Kam River Fighting Walleye continued their mini rivalry.
The two teams played for the fourth time in less than a week and the Fighting Walleye came out on top Thursday winning 3-0 on home ice.
Eric Vanska was the story stopping all 43 shots he faced.
Jack Osmond was equally impressive making 46 saves for the Miners.
Red Lake moves just east to Thunder Bay to face the North Stars for a two game series starting tonight (Friday) at 6:30 central.
The Fighting Walleye prepare to host the Sioux Lookout Bombers for a two game set.
