Provincial Police in Dryden is requesting public assistance as officers investigate a report of a group of suspicious individuals with a suspicious object in the Parkdale Road area on Wednesday afternoon.
OPP were alerted to the group around 1:20 p.m.
As a precaution police locked down St. Joseph, Open Roads and Dryden High School.
Police stress there was never a threat to public safety.
Officers searched the area in question but no one was located.
The lockdown was lifted shortly after with police presence on site at all schools.
