The Superior International Junior Hockey League has released details on the Annual Showcase event.
It will be held at the Wessman University Arena in Superior, Wisconsin.
All seven SIJHL teams will join the local Yellowjackets for competition on October 21 and 22.
All games not involving the Wisconsin Yellowjackets will count in the league standings.
The event allows scouts from the NCAA as well as other leagues and organizations to meet in one place to evaluate players.
SIJHL Commissioner Darrin Nicholas says, “playing in an NCAA building, and bringing in NCAA competition will add a unique twist to the event that we are really excited about.”
The Showcase schedule (all times central) is:
-Friday October 21 10:00am: Wisconsin Lumberjacks vs. Thunder Bay North Stars
-Friday October 21 1:00pm: Kam River Fighting Walleye vs. Dryden GM Ice Dogs
-Friday October 21 4:00pm: Sioux Lookout Bombers vs. Fort Frances Lakers
-Friday October 21 7:00pm: (*Exhibition) University Wisconsin-Superior Yellowjackets (ACHA) vs. Red Lake Miners
-Saturday October 22 10:00am: Fort Frances Lakers vs. Kam River Fighting Walleye
-Saturday October 22 1:00pm: Thunder Bay North Stars vs. Sioux Lookout Bombers
-Saturday October 22 4:00pm: Dryden GM Ice Dogs vs. Red Lake Miners
-Saturday October 22 7:00pm: (*Exhibition) University Wisconsin-Superior Yellowjackets (ACHA) vs. Wisconsin Lumberjacks
