Provincial Police across the region are holding Stuff-A-Cruiser events tomorrow. (Wednesday)
Officers in Red Lake will be collecting non-perishable food items at IGA and Balmertown Food Fair between 2 and 6 o’clock.
They will be at the Ear Falls Plaza, near KD’s Fine Food during the same time period.
In Sioux Lookout, OPP will be at Giant Tiger from 10 until noon and at Fresh Market Foods from 2 until 4.
Police in Dryden will be at Walmart from 10 until 12 and at Safeway from 2 until 4.
All donations will help ease the strain on area food banks leading up to Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
Recommended food items include, but are not limited to:
Flour, sugar, oatmeal, rice, pasta, lard, fruit (fresh or canned), potatoes, vegetables, canned meat,
eggs, powdered milk, soup, pasta sauce, jarred baby food.
