A shortage of drivers continues to hamper operations with the Northwestern Ontario Student Services Consortium.
Three buses in Sioux Lookout won’t be on the road today. (Monday)
SL52, SL54 and SL99 are all cancelled due to the ongoing shortage.
SL52 and SL99 will remain cancelled for the entire week.
Drivers are needed in Sioux Lookout, Dryden, Red Lake, Ear Falls, Kenora, and Sioux Narrows.
The Consortium says bus operators offer free driver training, competitive wages, and signing bonuses and no professional driving experience is necessary.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, and have a valid Ontario G class license with a clean driving record.
