A traffic stop on Highway 105 in Ear Falls has resulted in a drug bust.
Provincial Police found the occupants of the vehicle were in possession of controlled substances and were placed under arrest.
Officers then searched a home in Ear Falls and seized over 30 grams of methamphetamine, a gram of cocaine, 19 hydromorphone pills, digital scales, two cannisters of bear mace, two knives and $1,200 cash.
As a result of the investigation, OPP say 58 year old Stuart Smith of Machin faces three charges, 25 year old John Polkinghorne of Ear Falls faces two charges and 33 year old Christopher Flett of Winnipeg faces six charges.

Christopher FLETT, 33, of Winnipeg, Manitoba:
- 1x Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine, contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
- 1x Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine, contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
- 1x Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000 – in Canada, contrary to section 345(1)(a) of the Criminal Code;
- 1x Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, contrary to section 88 of the Criminal Code;
- 2x Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court, contrary to section 145(5)(a) of the Criminal Code;
John POLKINGHORNE, 25, of Ear Falls:
- 1x Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine, contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
- 1x Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000 – in Canada, contrary to section 345(1)(a) of the Criminal Code;

- 1x Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine, contrary to section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
- 1x Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine, contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
- 1x Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Opioid (other than heroin), contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
