Classes at Seven Generations Education Institute campuses in Sioux Lookout, Kenora and Fort Frances are in session.
Orientation activities were held last week, with the first day of in-person learning Tuesday.
Chief Executive Officer Brent Tookenay says they have the ability to shift to online learning if they have too.
“Say someone runs into a situation whether it’s COVID or sick or whatever, we have the ability now, as do a lot of organizations, just to shift things on to online and seamlessly and we don’t miss a beat.”
Tookenay says he’s happy to see faces back in their campuses.
Mask requirements have been lifted.
Tookenay says they felt the policy was no longer necessary with mask requirements dropped elsewhere.
Around 250 students are estimated in various post-secondary programs.
