Domtar is hosting a Community Open House this week to showcase operations in Dryden.
Dianne Loewen is the Communications and Engagement Coordinator at the Mill and she was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show Monday to outline what will be happening at the free event.
“We’ve got a jam-packed event. It’s a family event, so we would love to see grown-ups and kids of all ages come out. We plant to showcase the mill, what we do, and how we do it. It will offer an opportunity to meet members of the mill’s leadership team and many of the talented people we have working at the facility. We’re going to have some neat historical photos on hand for folks to check out, we’ve got a barbecue planned and we will have free books and goodies to give away.”
Loewen says there will also be laser tag set up for kids to enjoy.
It’s being held at the Centre from 4:30 pm until 7:30 pm on Wednesday, August 31.
