An intense match of Soccer took place between PhysioQuest United and the Breezers Thursday night, with the United taking the title of the 2022 Dryden Co-ed Senior Soccer Championship after securing a 3-0 victory.
Ethan Cook opened the scoring in the first half, followed by Ray Cook bringing the score to 2-0.
Joshua Couto made a phenomenal save during a penalty kick leaving the score 2-0 by the end of the first half.
In the second half, Alex Schollie scored the 3rd and final goal to seal the win for PhysioQuest United.
The Breezers had a strong offensive start, well placed passes, and several amazing defensive saves throughout the game.
It was an exhilarating end to an already great season.
In addition, DSS presented Dana Loader from the Steelers and Evan Armit from Kicking and Screaming with the “top scorer” award. Both players scored 14 goals.
