Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout say proactive traffic enforcement has resulted in officers arresting and charging three individuals with drug trafficking.
Police stopped a vehicle Saturday afternoon around 1 o’clock and an investigation resulted in the recovery of methamphetamine and cocaine with a street value over $2,500, as well as roughly $5,000 in cash.
OPP say 38 year old Charles Hattie of Thunder Bay, 41 year old Tyler Derouin of Sioux Lookout and 38 year old Jamie Maxwell of Sioux Lookout all face trafficking charges.
Hattie and Derouin also face possession of proceeds of property of crime charges, while Hattie faces one count of failing to comply with a probation order.
