A new Vice Principal has been appointed at Sacred Heart School in Sioux Lookout.
Jennifer McMaster has accepted the role in time for a new school year.
She has experience both as and elementary and secondary teacher and has previous experience as a Vice Principal.
The Northwest Catholic District School Board says McMaster has focused on equity in education, Indigenous student success and special education services in her previous roles in education.
McMaster has been living in Sioux Lookout with her family since 2017 and in 2021 began teaching at Sacred Heart.
Board officials say she brings an extensive knowledge of best practices in education that will support students and staff to excel.
