The Kenora District Services Board is assisting over 1,000 children this year to ensure they have access to organized sports, recreation, community activities, and food security.
The Board is spending $201,290 to support 13 community projects and agencies.
KDSB Chair Barry Baltessen says, “The COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact families and children across our district and creates barriers to active participation.
