Grant Valiquette and Troy Reeves replied for Notthingham.
In the other game, the Breezers overwhelmed the Celtic 13-1.
Mike English and Lucas Graver each scored three goals.
Laura Reid, Cash Lappage and Dion Corvello added two markers apiece.
Emerson Moir also scored for the Breezers.
The lone Celtic goal was scored by Bradley Poole.
