Provincial Police and Treaty Three Police are investigating the circumstances behind the death of a 56 year old Wabigoon Lake Ojibway Nation man.
Officers responded to a violent break and enter at a home in the community on May 13.
Police say the resident suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital in Dryden where he later died.
The victim has been identified as Gregory George.
Police say while foul play has not been ruled out, they don’t believe there is any threat to public safety at this time.
A post-mortem was conducted Wednesday in Toronto to determine the cause of death but the results have not been released.
