She admits campaigning as an Independent has its challenges.
“I’m really glad that we live in a virtual world now, so I encourage people to get connected as much as possible on social media, that’s where you can find my predominate campaign Facebook page.”
She says one of the key issues for her in the campaign is economic dignity.
Mi’azhikan adds there are many issues impacting First Nations people and the provincial government can play a bigger role than it does in helping address them.
