Provincial Police in Dryden have arrested a local teen for failing to stop for police.
Officers attempted to pull over the vehicle on Highway 17 in the City but the driver failed to comply and kept on going.
Police didn’t pursue in the interest of public safety but the driver was later caught and taken into custody.
An investigation determined the accused didn’t have a license or insurance.
OPP say 18-year-old Bryce Robinson of Dryden faces six charges:
-Flight from police contrary to section 320.17 of the Criminal Code
-Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle contrary to section 320.13(1) of the Criminal Code
-Fail to comply with conditions of release contrary to section 145(4)(a)
-Operate motor vehicle, no license contrary to the Highway Traffic Act section 32
-Operate motor vehicle, no insurance contrary to Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act section 2(1)(a)
-Operate motor vehicle, plates not authorized contrary to the Highway Traffic Act section 12(a)
