A large fire at the Ignace Resolute Mill.
The blaze ignited Sunday morning and as of 10:47 a.m., crews were still on scene attempting to get it under control.
The fire started at one of the kiln facilities and pictures show that the structure has been completely destroyed.
Others show the flames spreading to a nearby wood pile but contained to one area of the mill.
An official with Resolute says he can’t comment on the source of the fire or on the extent of damages at the moment.
Louis Bouchard stresses as usual, in this type of situation their priority is to make sure the blaze is contained and that people are safe.
Bouchard says a complete investigation will follow in order to understand what was the source of the fire.
