Fortunately no one was injured after a vehicle struck a church in Sioux Lookout.
The crash occurred around 3 o’clock on Thursday afternoon and caused significant damage to the vehicle and building.
Provincial Police say the event was not targeted, and there were no hate-motivated factors involved.
OPP say this was the second incident this week where officers have investigated situations in which driver error has created an immediate threat to public safety.
Police remind all drivers that they have the responsibility to operate their vehicle safely every time they get behind the wheel.
