Dingwall Ford is leading a drive to help the Dryden Food Bank over the summer months.
Until the end of May, you are asked to drop-by the Highway 17 dealership and fill a boat with donations of non-perishable food items.
Megan Sillery says they will be matching the donations pound for pound.
“We know how important the food bank is to our community and to communities around us. We know that food insecurity is something that many Canadians face, so we figure if we’re able to help them, why wouldn’t we.”
Sillery adds Dingwall employees have also pledged to make a financial donation from their staff fund.
Items requested by the food bank include:
-Peanut butter
-Jam
-Cheese Whiz
-Canned Fruit
-Fruit Cups
-Pudding/ Pudding Cups
-Boxes of Cookies
-Pasta Sauce
-Canned Soups
-Crackers
-Cereal
-Juice Boxes
Other non-perishable food items will be accepted as well.
Anyone who makes a donation can enter a dry to win a Dingwall Ford hoodie.
