The forest fire season is officially underway.
Although the season started April 1, the first recorded blaze was Monday, about 20 kilometres north of Dryden.
The 0.1 hectare fire was quickly put out.
A reminder fires are to be ignited no sooner than two hours before sunset and extinguished no later than two hours after sunrise and always have tools and water nearby to contain the fire at the site.
Environment Canada is calling for highs of 10 and 11 Sunday and Monday, before the temperature jumps to 22 on Tuesday.
Rain is also on the horizon for Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
