A Flood Outlook has been issued for the Dryden District.
The warning is in effect until May 13.
Residents in the Dryden, Oxdrift, and surrounding areas should exercise extreme caution around less travelled roads, bridges, water-crossings, lakes, rivers, and areas of high runoff potential.
The Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry says exceptionally high levels of precipitation in April, combined with melting snow, have resulted in high stream flow conditions.
Officials say water levels on the Eagle and Wabigoon systems will continue to rise over the coming week.
The Ministry says it is closely monitoring the situation.
The Flood Outlook is also in effect in the Kenora and Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls area.
