The Red Lake Miners are one win away from their first ever Superior International Junior Hockey League title.
The Miners offence was on display Monday night as they cruised to a 7-1 win over visiting Kam River to take a 3-0 stranglehold in the Championship series.
It was a balanced attack with Mathieu Belanger scoring two.
Ryan Howe, Nic Bolin, Kenyon Nyman, Ethan Pool and Carter Albrecht added singles.
Kiev Kineshanko made 31 saves for the victory.
Red Lake can capture the Bill Salonen Cup tonight (Tuesday) with a win in Cochenour at 7:30.
