The Kenora District Services Board maintains solving a homelessness crisis remains a top priority for the organization.
Chair Barry Baltessen says they continue to look at all options including building a new emergency shelter in Dryden.
“It’s in the works. I can’t really say too much about it at this point. But it’s definitely a project that we will be working on for the rest of this year.”
Baltessen notes other projects are on the go across its service area as well.
