Road closures of note still:
-Ignace/Pickle Lake: Highway 599 between Highway 17 junction to the end of the highway
-Sioux Lookout: Highway 642 between Highway 599. Both Directions between HWY 516 (N) – HWY 72 (S) – KING ST (W) and SEC HWY 599. All lanes closed.
-Sioux Lookout: Highway 516 between Highway 642-Highway 599
Highway 11 between Fort Frances and Shabaqua Corner has reopened.
Highway 1 into Winnipeg is listed as open, but most of the Trans-Canada in Manitoba is snow covered with blowing snow. West of Winnipeg, Manitoba 411 reports virtually all major highways including the Trans-Canada as being closed.
Snow is expected to continue across most of Northwestern Ontario until Friday.
