The Dryden GM Ice Dogs are making a statement at the right time.
The Dogs headed on the road and picked up a dominant 9-0 win over Fort Frances Friday to sweep the Best-of-3 Series.
Dryden GM outshot Fort Frances 67-20, including 30 in the second period and didn’t look back.
It was a balanced attack with captain Cameron Ware scoring two and Ondrej Bardos, Brady Frattinger, Jordan Gagnon, Jackson Jacques, Maxime Collette, Bryce Benfield and Lee Lang adding singles.
Cole Johnston remains perfect in net making 20 saves.
The Ice Dogs now prepare for Red Lake who had a first round bye.
Thunder Bay takes on Kam River in the other Semi-Final.
