The Dryden Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to a reopening after two years.
The Chamber is planning for the return of its home and leisure show, the Dryden Days of Summer and its awards banquet.
Outgoing chair Michelle Price says it’s been a couple of long years.
“It’s been new territory for us, as well as everyone else, for meetings and staying above water and keeping a healthy chamber. I think we’ve been successful with that,” says Price.
Price says the Chamber depends on those events for additional sources of revenue.
They also help bring people together.
“(Dryden Days of Summer) is all about community, and it draws big crowds. I’m very excited to see that (return),” says Price.
The Chamber also selected Pauline Douglas, owner of Douglas Graphic Design, to take over as chair for the next year.
Caroline Goulding, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Librarian of the Dryden Public Library, will serve as vice-chair.
