All school buses in Red Lake and Ear Falls aren’t running Thursday morning due to extreme cold temperatures.
The buses are scheduled to run this afternoon with the exception of RL3.
That service has been cancelled today and Friday due to a driver shortage.
As well, Upsala buses UP82 and UP83 will be cancelled this morning due to extreme cold.
They are scheduled to run this afternoon.
In Dryden, DR7 will be cancelled Thursday.
Once again a shortage of drivers is to blame.
Drivers are still needed in Red Lake, Ear Falls, Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Kenora, and Sioux Narrows.
The Northwestern Ontario Student Services Consortium says bus operators offer paid training and licensing, competitive wages, and signing bonuses.
