A great restart for the Dryden Eagles Court teams as they took 3 of 4 from the visiting Fort Frances Muskies Tuesday.
The Senior Boys Basketball team pulled away in the third quarter en route to a convincing 47-28 victory.
Ethan Cook led the Eagles attack with 17 points while Dom Morriseau added 13.
The Juniors fell behind at the half and couldn’t recover as the Muskies rebounded with a 56-21 win over Dryden.
Jett Livingston was the leading scorer for the Eagles with 14 points.
In Girls Volleyball, the Juniors downed Fort Frances in 3 sets. (25-19, 24-26, 25-17).
The Dryden Seniors also won in 3 sets. (23-25, 25-21, 25-9).
Meagan Peters and Lara Brown had sustained success serving in the matches and Kiera Rapine had many strong spikes leading to points for the Eagles.
Dryden returns to the court at home Thursday against Beaver Brae.
In Sioux Lookout, the Warriors were swept by the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints.
