It was a cold but fun day of fishing on Wabigoon Lake Sunday for the Dryden Lions Fishing Derby.
Tom Riley says roughly 76 people participated in the friendly competition.
Riley says, “Total of about 16 fish were entered and the biggest was just over 4 pounds and of course the smallest no one talks about those.”
Three hundred dollars in donations was also collected for the Dryden Food Bank.
Riley notes, “It was good to get out and do some things for the community again. The kids had a great time and it was a fun time.”
