Free COVID rapid tests will now be available at local pharmacies and grocery stores.
Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott says the roll-out is now underway.
Elliott says 5.5 million rapid tests will be made available each week at over 2,300 locations across the province.
She notes a total of 44 million will be distributed over an eight week period.
Participating retailers will determine how tests are distributed in order to best serve the community, including through appointment bookings, at checkout or through online orders
Supply will be limited to one box per household per visit but there are no measures in place to prevent someone from travelling to other locations and picking up multiple boxes of tests.
Local locations participating:
Dryden: Walmart and Shoppers Drug Mart
