Ontario is easing temporary visiting restrictions at long-term care homes.
Effective February 7, the maximum number of designated caregivers per resident is increasing to four but will be limited to two per resident at one time.
Residents with three doses of the COVID vaccine will also be able to resume social trips.
On February 21, general visitors over 5-years-old with two shots can visit and the number of visitors will increase by another person to three at a time.
This also comes with allowing daytime programming including outside entertainment resuming.
By the middle of March, the province hopes to increase visitors again.
