Two curlers scheduled to take part in the Scotties Tournament of Hearts have tested positive for COVID-19.
Curling Canada says the two are associated with different teams and tested positive before arriving in Thunder Bay.
They are now self-isolating and need to be cleared by Curling Canada’s medical staff to take part.
One is Tracy Fleury, the other unknown and from a different team.
The national women’s championship is set to get underway at the Fort William Gardens at 6:00 central.
Northern Ontario representative and Thunder Bay skip Krista McCarville is featured in the opening draw against Chelsea Carey.
