The Ontario Liberals are looking for changes to COVID vaccine requirements.
Leader Steven Del Duca believes vaccine passports should be required to enter liquor, cannabis and non-essential stores.
Del Duca is proposing curbside pickup at LCBO outlets for those not fully vaccinated.
He’s also calling on the government to redefine the term “fully vaccinated” to include the booster shot.
Del Duca notes Ontario’s top doctors also support stronger certificates.
He says we are making progress but the vaccination rate still needs to come up.
Del Duca says, “These two actions would seriously strengthen where we are and what our reaction is going to be and what our response is going to be in the coming days and weeks.”
He adds, “I know Doug Ford has said no to both of these ideas, but this is the time to step up Doug. This is not the time to not take the right actions. To not position Ontario for success.”
