The Northwest Catholic District School Board has introduced a new Assistant to the Superintendent of Education.
Dryden’s Jennifer Rathwell takes over the position.
Rathwell has provided 17 years of service as a teacher, special education resource teacher, vice principal and principal at St. Joseph’s School.
Board officials note she has demonstrated a strong commitment to catholic education through her daily work.
They say Rathwell has led with patience, positivity and resilience through many challenges and has always displayed an attitude of service, selflessness and dedication.
The statement goes on to say she is committed to supporting students and families in order to assist them in meeting their full potential.
Rathwell has always demonstrated a passion for special education and advocating for the well-being of others.
The Board says Rathwell looks forward to collaborating with the many dedicated staff, community partners, students, parents and parish community.
