The man who would ‘Do Anything for Love’ has died at the age of 74.
A post on his official Facebook page, states legendary musician and actor Meat Loaf passed away overnight surrounded by his wife, daughters and close friends.
Born in 1947 in Texas as Marvin Lee Aday, his career spanned six decades, with over 100 million albums sold worldwide. “Bat Out Of Hell” is still one of the top-selling albums of all time.
Meat Loaf also starred in over 65 movies including the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Fight Club and Wayne’s World.
Friends and family are posting tributes to the musician on social media.
