The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting 12 hospitalizations in the region due to COVID-19.
That’s up one from yesterday with two people remain in local Intensive Care Units also due to the virus.
The region’s 7-day percent positivity rate is also up to 19.5%.
However, there are only two active outbreaks in the region now compared to four yesterday.
Overall there are 268 active high risk cases of COVID-19 in the region.
PCR testing is limited to symptomatic high-risk individuals and individuals who work in high-risk settings.
