The provincial government is now seeking input as it drafts the 2022 budget.
Consultations will once again be done virtually.
Minister of Finance Peter Bethlenfalvy says they are looking for ideas that will help Ontario continue to build its long-term prosperity and create jobs, while supporting workers.
Bethlenfalvy notes, “It is clear that while the COVID-19 pandemic is not over yet, our government will continue to make decisions that will lay a strong, stable fiscal foundation that Ontario workers, families and entrepreneurs can build on.”
Individuals and organizations are now welcome to share their ideas through an online survey, email, or mail.
The deadline to provide suggestions is February 11 as the budget will be delivered before March 31.

Virtual consultations will also be held.
